In July 2017, True Sioux Hope Foundation hosted a Family to Family Cultural Connectivity Event with the Global Family Guild on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
The convening brought members of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe together with family philanthropists, with the aim of encouraging long-term investment in the community.
The measure of a family is not what it holds, but what it passes on.
